The Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka successfully hosted the Inter University Netball Championship – 2017 on 12^th & 13^th August 2017 at their University. There were 12 Universities partook in the championship and performed very well.

A successful victory has been achieved by the University of Jaffna Netball Team through won the Runner-up for the first time in the history of Inter University Championship by reflected the supremacy of our team.

In finals the title of the Champion went to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura by their promising performance. The 2^nd Runner-up went to the University of Colombo.
