Welcome Party – 2026

On 17 June 2026, the fourth-year students of the Tourism and Hospitality Unit, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna, organized the Welcome Party for the third-year students under the theme “Beyond Borders.” The occasion was graced by Dr. (Ms.) S. Vaikunthavasan, Head of the Tourism and Hospitality Unit, together with the esteemed academic staff.

The celebration brought together both third-year and fourth-year students, creating opportunities for interaction, collaboration, and camaraderie. Through various activities and shared experiences, the event fostered a strong sense of belonging and further strengthened the vibrant academic community within the Unit.

Reflecting the core values of hospitality, unity, and mutual support, the event highlighted the importance of building meaningful relationships among future tourism and hospitality professionals.

More than a welcome gathering, “Beyond Borders” symbolized connection, friendship, and the beginning of a shared journey within the Tourism and Hospitality family, leaving behind cherished memories and strengthening bonds that extend beyond classrooms and borders.
